We arrange for floor boards to be fitted on all UK boats, which match the standard seating configuration of that particular model kayak, with the boards being fitted directly in front of the seat. IE where you normally would put your feet when getting in / out of the boat.
If you plan to use the kayak in different role with the seat/s in a different position to the standard configuration, then you can request extra floorboards. EG using a double seater as a single seater, sitting in the central part of the boat.
Indicate which floorboard you require (IE seating position) as floorboards vary in size and shape, based on the structure of the keel frame at that particular position in specific model kayaks.
Note that the solid floorboard solution is heavier than the Alu slats option (see below)
